Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader expectations about future price movement, often diverging from current spot prices because they incorporate forward-looking sentiment and event risk. While spot prices show what the token trades for right now, this market prices in the probability of directional movement over a specific window. Traders use both signals together: spot price reveals current valuation, while prediction odds reveal whether the crowd expects upward or downward pressure by the resolution time. The gap between them can highlight mispricing opportunities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome share reflects the probability traders assign to it; as more capital flows into one side, that outcome's price rises and the opposing side falls. Traders profit by buying underpriced outcomes and selling overpriced ones, with the spread between bid and ask prices representing the market's uncertainty at any given moment.
This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed based on verified price data from credible public sources. The resolution hinges on whether the token has moved up or down relative to its starting price at the specified time. Once the event window closes and the final price is established, the market settles automatically and traders receive payouts according to which outcome occurred. No further trading is possible after the resolution timestamp.
Major catalysts include official project announcements, regulatory news, macroeconomic shifts affecting crypto sentiment, exchange listings or delistings, and shifts in broader market conditions. Technical developments, partnership reveals, or changes in on-chain activity can also sway trader expectations. Social media momentum and sentiment shifts among large holders may accelerate price moves. Real-time market reactions to these signals typically flow into this market within minutes, so monitoring news and on-chain metrics helps traders anticipate odds movements before they fully price in.
