This event tracks the price range of HYPE on June 26, 2026 at 5pm EDT using CF Benchmarks' Real-Time Index. The market resolves based on which price band the simple average of 60 seconds of pricing data falls into at the specified expiration time.
Resolution is determined by the simple average of CF Benchmarks' HYPEUSD_RTI over the 60 seconds immediately preceding 5 PM EDT on June 26, 2026. Each outcome represents a distinct price range, and exactly one outcome resolves to Yes based on where the averaged price falls. If data is unavailable or incomplete at expiration, affected outcomes resolve to No. The CF Benchmarks Real-Time Index provides continuous pricing data aggregated from major cryptocurrency exchanges.
Prediction market odds reflect what traders collectively believe will happen, while spot prices represent what the asset costs right now. This market aggregates forward-looking sentiment about where HYPE will trade at a defined future moment, which often diverges from today's price due to expected volatility, upcoming catalysts, or shifts in market sentiment. Traders use prediction markets to hedge or express conviction about price ranges that spot markets alone cannot isolate. By comparing the implied range from this market to current spot prices and analyst forecasts, you gain insight into whether the market is pricing in bullish, bearish, or neutral expectations relative to today's valuation.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell shares representing different HYPE price ranges. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome corresponds to a specific price band, and the cost of a share reflects the probability traders assign to that range occurring by the resolution date. As new information arrives—whether from on-chain activity, regulatory news, or macroeconomic shifts—traders adjust their bids and offers, causing prices to move. The spread between buy and sell orders indicates liquidity and conviction; tighter spreads suggest high confidence, while wider spreads signal uncertainty or lower trading volume.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed based on verifiable public data about HYPE's price at that specific time. The resolution hinges on where the asset actually traded during the designated window, matched against the predefined price ranges offered in this market. Once the event occurs and credible public sources confirm the price, the winning outcome is determined and traders' positions settle accordingly. No further trading occurs after resolution, so timing your entry and exit before the deadline is crucial to managing your exposure.
Major catalysts for HYPE price movement include protocol upgrades, partnership announcements, regulatory developments affecting crypto broadly, macroeconomic shifts in risk appetite, and changes in Bitcoin or Ethereum sentiment that often drive altcoin correlations. On-chain metrics such as whale accumulation, exchange inflows, or smart contract activity can also shift trader expectations. Broader crypto market events—exchange hacks, stablecoin crises, or central bank policy shifts—may trigger rapid repricing. Additionally, social media momentum and influencer commentary can amplify volatility. Traders monitor these signals continuously, adjusting their positions as new information emerges and the probability of each price range changes.
