This event determines which price range the HYPE cryptocurrency will fall within on June 22, 2026 at 5pm EDT. The market divides the price spectrum into specific bands to capture where HYPE settles.
Resolution is determined by the simple average of the CF Benchmarks' HYPEUSD_RTI calculated from 60 seconds of price data collected before 5 PM EDT on June 22, 2026. Each outcome represents a specific price range, and exactly one outcome will resolve to Yes based on where the averaged price falls. The price must meet the criterion at exactly the specified time on the target date. If no data is available or incomplete at the expiration time, affected outcomes resolve to No. The CF Benchmarks Real-Time Index provides continuous pricing data for major cryptocurrencies.
Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader conviction about where HYPE will trade at settlement, often diverging from current spot prices because they incorporate forward-looking sentiment and tail-risk hedging. While spot markets price the asset today, this market embeds expectations about volatility, adoption catalysts, and macro conditions over the coming months. Traders who believe HYPE will move significantly higher or lower than current levels can express that view through their positions. The odds you see represent a probabilistic consensus built through real-money trading, which frequently differs from analyst price targets or social media sentiment because market participants face direct financial consequences for their forecasts.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to different HYPE price ranges. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome represents a discrete price band, and the cost to buy a share reflects the probability traders assign to that range occurring. As new information arrives—whether regulatory news, exchange listings, or shifts in broader crypto sentiment—traders adjust their bids and offers, moving the price. The platform's matching engine ensures transparent price discovery, and you can enter limit or market orders to express your view on where HYPE will settle.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning price range is determined by where HYPE trades at the specified moment, and all shares corresponding to that outcome pay out in full. Traders holding shares in non-winning ranges receive nothing. Resolution is final once the settlement price is locked in, and payouts are distributed to winning positions. Monitoring reliable price feeds and exchange data in the days leading up to settlement can help you assess which range is most likely to prevail.
Major catalysts for this market include regulatory announcements affecting HYPE or the broader crypto sector, significant exchange listings or delistings, partnerships or integrations that boost adoption, and macroeconomic shifts in risk appetite. Technical developments—such as protocol upgrades, security audits, or changes to tokenomics—can also reshape trader expectations. Broader crypto market movements, Bitcoin and Ethereum price action, and shifts in institutional interest all influence sentiment around altcoins like HYPE. Social media momentum, influencer endorsements, and competitive pressures from rival projects may sway short-term positioning. Monitoring on-chain metrics, developer activity, and news flow helps you stay ahead of market-moving events before settlement.
