This event divides the possible HYPE price range into specific bands on June 20, 2026 at 5pm EDT. Traders can bet on which price range HYPE will fall within, with each outcome representing a $1 price band from below $48 up to above $86.
Resolution is based on the simple average of CF Benchmarks' HYPEUSD_RTI over 60 seconds immediately preceding 5 PM EDT on June 20, 2026. Each outcome represents a specific price range, and exactly one outcome resolves to Yes based on where the averaged price falls. If data is unavailable or incomplete at expiration, affected outcomes resolve to No. The CF Benchmarks Real-Time Index provides continuous pricing data for HYPE.
Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader conviction about where HYPE will settle at the specified time, whereas spot price expectations derive from current exchange valuations and analyst forecasts. This market prices in forward-looking sentiment—including anticipated volatility, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic shifts—that may not be fully reflected in today's spot price. When odds diverge significantly from current market levels, it often signals that traders expect material price movement or that consensus has shifted. Comparing the two reveals whether the market is pricing in bullish, bearish, or neutral momentum relative to present conditions.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where buyers and sellers submit bids and asks for each HYPE price range outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform converts these orders into implied probabilities displayed as decimal odds or percentages, allowing traders to enter or exit positions at any time before resolution. Prices update in real time as new trades execute, ensuring the odds reflect the most current market sentiment. Tighter spreads between bid and ask indicate higher confidence and liquidity, while wider spreads suggest uncertainty or lower trading activity.
This market resolves around Jun 20, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed by verifying HYPE's actual price against credible public sources. Once the event occurs and the price is established, the range containing that price is marked as correct, and all positions in that outcome receive full payout while other ranges expire worthless. The resolution process is deterministic—there is no discretion involved once the price data is finalized. Traders should monitor official exchange data and announcements in the days leading up to settlement to ensure they understand which sources will be used for final verification.
Major catalysts include HYPE token announcements, regulatory developments affecting cryptocurrency markets, macroeconomic shifts in risk appetite, and Bitcoin or Ethereum price movements that typically influence altcoin sentiment. Exchange listings, partnership news, or protocol upgrades could trigger sharp repricing. Broader crypto market stress—such as contagion from other projects or tightening monetary policy—may push traders toward lower price ranges. Technical chart patterns and options expiry dates on major exchanges can also create momentum. Monitoring on-chain metrics, social sentiment, and mainstream financial news will help you anticipate shifts in this market's odds before they fully materialize.
