This event tracks the price range of HYPE cryptocurrency on July 11, 2026 at 5pm EDT using CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index. The market resolves based on which price band the simple average of 60 seconds of pricing data falls into.
Resolution is determined by the simple average of the CF Benchmarks' HYPE-Dollar Real Time Index (HYPEUSD_RTI) calculated from 60 seconds of data collected before 5 PM EDT on July 11, 2026. The price is divided into distinct dollar ranges, each representing a separate outcome. Only one outcome resolves to Yes based on which range contains the averaged price at exactly the specified time and date. If data is unavailable or incomplete at expiration, affected outcomes resolve to No. The CF Benchmarks Real-Time Index provides continuous pricing data aggregated from major cryptocurrency exchanges.
Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader conviction about where HYPE will settle, often diverging from current spot prices because markets price in expected volatility, news flow, and macroeconomic shifts over the coming months. While spot prices react to immediate supply and demand, this market embeds forward-looking sentiment. Comparing the implied price range from odds to today's spot level reveals whether the market expects appreciation, depreciation, or consolidation. Traders often use such gaps to identify mispriced outcomes relative to their own fundamental analysis.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to different HYPE price ranges. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each range contract trades independently, and the bid-ask spread reflects uncertainty around the final settlement level. Prices range from near-zero to near-100 cents per share, with the sum of all range probabilities converging toward 100 percent. Real-time price discovery happens as new information arrives and traders rebalance positions.
This market resolves around Jul 11, 2026, once the HYPE price at that specific time and venue is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which price range bracket HYPE falls into at the resolution moment. Traders holding shares in the correct range receive full payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The exact settlement price is confirmed through established market data sources to ensure fairness and transparency.
Major catalysts include HYPE token announcements, regulatory developments affecting crypto markets, macroeconomic shifts in risk appetite, and competitive or partnership news. Technical breakouts or breakdowns on spot exchanges often precede prediction market repricing. Broader crypto sentiment—driven by Bitcoin, Ethereum, or sector-wide events—typically influences altcoin expectations. As the resolution date approaches, any leaked information or official guidance from the HYPE team could trigger sharp probability swings. Traders monitor social channels, on-chain metrics, and traditional finance headlines for early signals.
