This event tracks the price range of HYPE on July 1, 2026 at 5pm EDT, dividing the price spectrum into specific bands. Resolution uses CF Benchmarks' official Real Time Index with pricing data averaged over 60 seconds immediately before the specified time.
Resolution is determined by the simple average of CF Benchmarks' HYPEUSD_RTI over the 60 seconds immediately preceding 5 PM EDT on July 1, 2026. Each outcome represents a distinct price range, and exactly one outcome resolves to Yes based on where the averaged price falls. If data is unavailable or incomplete at expiration, affected outcomes resolve to No. The CF Benchmarks Real-Time Index provides continuous pricing aggregated from major cryptocurrency exchanges.
Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader beliefs about future price action, often diverging from current spot prices because they incorporate forward-looking risk and uncertainty. While spot markets price HYPE for today's conditions, this market prices the token's expected range six months ahead, accounting for volatility, adoption catalysts, and macro sentiment. Traders here are essentially betting on where HYPE will settle, not where it trades now. Comparing the implied probabilities in this market to analyst forecasts or on-chain metrics can reveal whether the crowd is pricing in optimism or caution relative to fundamental expectations.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each HYPE price range. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each range contract trades independently, and the price of a share reflects the collective probability assigned to that outcome. As new information surfaces—regulatory news, product launches, or market-wide shifts—traders adjust their positions, moving the odds in real time. The platform's matching engine ensures transparent price discovery, and you can enter or exit positions at any time before the market resolves.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, once the HYPE token's price at that specific moment is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which price range bracket HYPE falls into at the designated time, and all shares corresponding to the correct range pay out in full. Shares in incorrect ranges expire worthless. The resolution process is designed to be objective and transparent, ensuring that all traders can independently confirm the result using the same authoritative price data.
Major catalysts for HYPE price movement include regulatory announcements affecting the broader crypto sector, product milestones or technical upgrades, shifts in macroeconomic policy, and changes in institutional or retail adoption. Competitive developments in the token's niche, security incidents, or shifts in sentiment on social media and trading forums can also drive rapid repricing. Traders monitor on-chain metrics like transaction volume and holder concentration, as well as correlation with Bitcoin and Ethereum. Unexpected news—partnerships, exchange listings, or adverse legal developments—often trigger sharp moves in implied probabilities across the price ranges.
