On Polymarket, this market is priced using a continuous double auction, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of New People (NL) winning a specific number of seats in the Russian legislative election. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome drives up the price, indicating greater confidence among traders. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price, suggesting reduced confidence. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations.
