Description

Donald Trump will deliver a Speech to the Nation on July 17, 2026. The total duration of his spoken remarks will be measured to determine whether he speaks for specified minimum durations.

Kalshi

Speech duration is measured from the first audible word spoken by Trump to the last audible word spoken by Trump at the Speech to the Nation event before July 17, 2026. Pauses occurring between the first and last words are included in the total speaking time. Words captured on a hot microphone during Trump's entrance or exit are excluded from the measurement. The event contains multiple resolution thresholds at 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 minutes, with each threshold resolving independently based on whether the measured speaking duration meets or exceeds that specific duration.
