Speech duration is measured from the first audible word spoken by Trump to the last audible word spoken by Trump at the Speech to the Nation event before July 17, 2026. Pauses occurring between the first and last words are included in the total speaking time. Words captured on a hot microphone during Trump's entrance or exit are excluded from the measurement.
