This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) on June 15 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/GOOGL/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-time trader conviction rather than periodic research updates. While equity analysts publish forecasts based on fundamental analysis and earnings models, this market reflects dynamic, continuously updated beliefs from participants with financial stakes in the outcome. Comparing the two can reveal whether the crowd is more or less bullish than the consensus view, offering a complementary signal for investors tracking Google's near-term trajectory.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker that converts buy and sell orders into implied probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see represents the marginal cost of acquiring one additional share of the outcome, with spreads tightening as volume increases. Liquidity providers and speculators continuously adjust positions, so the odds shift in real time as new information emerges or sentiment changes about Google's stock performance.
This market resolves around Jun 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once Google's closing stock price on that date is verifiable from credible public sources. Traders holding shares of the winning outcome receive their payout once the event is settled and verified. The resolution hinges solely on whether GOOGL closes above the specified price threshold at market close on the settlement date.
Earnings announcements, product launches, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic shifts can all influence Google's stock price and thus trading activity in this market. Broader tech sector momentum, changes in advertising spending trends, and shifts in AI competition may also sway participant expectations. Breaking news about the company's business, management changes, or competitive threats could trigger sharp repricing as traders reassess the likelihood of the stock closing above the target level by June 15.
