This event tracks the precise closing price of gold at a specific moment, reflecting real-time market conditions during a brief trading interval. The outcome depends entirely on whether the price exceeds a certain threshold at the exact close of a one-minute trading window.

Kalshi

Multiple markets exist, each resolving based on whether the closing price of the one-minute candlestick for gold at 5:00 PM EDT on September 16, 2026 exceeds a specific threshold value. The closing price is defined as the price at the end of the immediately preceding one-minute interval (i.e., the candlestick timestamped 4:59 PM). All markets share identical secondary rules: the settlement value is rounded to the nearest two decimal places, and if no data is published for the specified time, the most recently available published data is used to resolve the market. Each market’s outcome (Yes/No) is determined solely by whether its respective threshold is crossed.
