Description

This event tracks the price of gold on July 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT. Participants predict whether the closing price of the 1-minute candlestick will exceed various price thresholds ranging from $3,876 to $4,266 per troy ounce. Settlement uses the close price at the end of the preceding one-minute interval, rounded to two decimal places.

Kalshi

Gold price resolution is determined by the close price of the 1-minute candlestick on July 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT, with settlement values rounded to the nearest 2 decimal places. The close price for a candlestick timestamped at a given time reflects the price at the end of the immediately preceding one-minute interval; for example, the candlestick timestamped 4:59 PM represents trading from 4:59:00 PM to 4:59:59 PM and closes at 5:00:00 PM. If no data is published by the specified source agency for the specified time, the most recently available published data will be used to resolve the market. Each outcome resolves to Yes if the close price exceeds its corresponding threshold, with thresholds incrementing by $10 from $3,876 to $4,266 USD per troy ounce.
