This market on Polymarket tracks whether Fannie Mae will complete an initial public offering and, if so, what its market capitalization will be at the closing price on its first trading day. The leading outcome—that no IPO occurs by June 30, 2026—currently stands at 95.9%, while the probability that Fannie Mae's market cap falls below $200 billion at IPO closing is 3.7%. Resolution will be determined by the primary exchange's official listing page or another reliable source if that figure is unavailable. Watch for any official announcements or regulatory approvals regarding Fannie Mae's IPO timeline leading up to the June 30, 2026 deadline.
This market will resolve based on Fannie Mae's market capitalization at the closing price on its first day of trading. If no IPO occurs by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "No IPO by June 30, 2026". If the relevant value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Resolution will be based on the primary exchange’s official listing page. In the event that the relevant figure is not displayed, another reliable source will be used. In the event of an interruption in the course of the normal trading session on Fannie Mae’s first day of trading (e.g., a circuit breaker or half-day), the market will resolve according to the official closing price of the abbreviated session. If no such official closing price is published, the market will resolve according to the next trading day on which an official closing price is published, treating that as the first day of trading for purposes of this market.
The Fannie Mae IPO Closing Market Cap market resolves on Jun 30, 2026, marking the end of the prediction period. Resolution is determined by Fannie Mae's official market capitalization at the close of trading on its IPO day. The outcome is established by multiplying the final closing stock price by the total shares outstanding, as reported by major financial data providers and official exchange records. Once the IPO occurs and the closing price is confirmed, the winning outcome bracket is identified and payouts are distributed to traders who held positions in the correct range. The exact resolution criteria ensure clarity and prevent disputes.
