PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: The event group title references June 27, but the Predict platform market references June 26. This creates scope ambiguity about which market(s) belong to the group and when resolution should occur.Hero tip: Before trading, confirm with PredictionHero whether this group includes only the Polymarket June 27 market, or both the Predict June 26 and Polymarket June 27 markets. The title suggests June 27 only, but the inclusion of the Predict market suggests a multi-day comparison series.

Critical divergence points:

  • Predict: Market compares Binance ETH/USDT close price at Jun 25 12:00 ET to Jun 26 12:00 ET. Resolves Up if Jun 25 close is lower than Jun 26 close, Down if higher, 50-50 if equal. Title and question state 'June 26' but group is labeled 'June 27'.
  • Polymarket: Market compares Binance ETH/USDT close price at Jun 26 12:00 ET to Jun 27 12:00 ET. Resolves Up if Jun 26 close is lower than Jun 27 close, Down if higher, 50-50 if equal. Question correctly states 'June 27' matching group title.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

The Ethereum price movement market aggregates trader predictions across Polymarket and Predict, offering a cross-platform view of whether ETH will close higher or lower on June 27. This market reflects real-time consensus from thousands of participants betting on directional price action. By tracking odds across multiple venues, you can see whether conviction leans bullish or bearish, and spot divergence between platforms that may signal arbitrage opportunities or differing market microstructure. The combined volume and odds provide a snapshot of aggregate market sentiment on Ethereum's near-term trajectory.

Prediction market odds reflect what traders are willing to risk, not what spot prices suggest in the moment. A 50–60% implied probability of Ethereum moving up does not mean the spot price will rise; rather, it represents the collective bet that it will. These odds often diverge from technical analysis or on-chain signals because they incorporate tail risk, funding costs, and behavioral factors. Comparing this market's odds to your own price forecast helps calibrate whether the market is underpricing or overpricing directional risk relative to your thesis.

Polymarket and Predict operate with different user bases, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which can cause their odds to diverge even on the same event. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Traders on one platform may have stronger conviction or better information flow, leading to faster price discovery there. Arbitrage between the two venues is often constrained by withdrawal delays, platform friction, or regulatory differences. Monitoring both sides reveals which platform's participants are more confident and can highlight temporary mispricings worth exploiting.

Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, Bitcoin volatility, Ethereum network upgrades, and macroeconomic data releases. Large liquidations on leveraged trading platforms can trigger sharp price swings that ripple through prediction odds. Regulatory news, exchange outflows, or whale transactions often precede directional moves. Monitoring on-chain metrics, funding rates, and social sentiment can help you anticipate shifts in this market before they're fully priced in.
