This market will resolve to "Up" if the Ethereum price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the ETH/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/eth-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream ETH/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
The market resolves at May 30, 2026. The outcome is determined by whether Ethereum's price moves up or down during the specified four-hour window on May 30 from 12:00AM to 4:00AM ET. Resolution depends on the final price snapshot compared to the opening price at the start of the window. Traders should monitor Ethereum's price action closely as the event window approaches, since even small moves can swing the outcome. Once the window closes, the market settles based on the recorded price movement.
Several catalysts could influence Ethereum's direction during the May 30 window. Regulatory announcements or SEC guidance on crypto assets can trigger sharp moves. Major macroeconomic data releases, Federal Reserve communications, or shifts in risk sentiment often ripple through crypto markets. On-chain metrics such as large whale transactions, staking changes, or network upgrades may signal institutional positioning. Technical levels and support or resistance zones identified by traders can act as magnets for price action. Additionally, Bitcoin's movement often leads Ethereum, so BTC volatility during the window could be decisive. Monitoring social sentiment and derivatives funding rates helps gauge trader positioning ahead of the event.
