This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader consensus on Ethereum's direction by Jun 9, 2026, which may diverge from current spot prices or analyst forecasts. Spot price reflects only present value, while prediction markets price in expected moves over the entire forecast window. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst sentiment or on-chain metrics can reveal whether traders are pricing in bullish catalysts, regulatory shifts, or macroeconomic headwinds that spot markets have not yet fully absorbed. This gap often signals where informed traders see edge.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this binary event is priced as two complementary outcome tokens: one for Ethereum moving up by Jun 9, 2026, and one for down. Each outcome's price reflects the probability traders assign to that result. Prices move continuously as new orders flow in; higher prices indicate stronger conviction. Liquidity and order-book spread vary throughout the day, affecting how easily you can enter or exit positions. Polymarket's automated market maker model ensures prices remain consistent across all trades at any given moment.
Major catalysts include Ethereum network upgrades, regulatory announcements, macroeconomic shifts, and Bitcoin price action. Fed policy changes, stablecoin developments, and large exchange inflows or outflows can trigger sharp moves. On-chain metrics like active addresses, transaction volume, and staking rates may signal trader conviction. Geopolitical events, corporate adoption news, or security incidents could also shift sentiment. Monitoring these signals helps traders anticipate odds movements and identify mispricings before Jun 9, 2026.
