This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing "Up" or "Down" outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market's probability estimate, ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). As traders transact, prices adjust in real time based on supply and demand. Liquidity and order book depth on Polymarket determine how easily you can enter or exit positions at any given moment.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 9, 10PM ET market resolves at Jun 10, 2026. At that moment, the outcome is determined by comparing Ethereum's price at the specified time against a reference baseline. Traders who correctly predicted the direction receive their winnings, while incorrect positions expire worthless. Resolution is final once the market closes, and any remaining shares are settled according to the outcome.
Major catalysts for Ethereum price direction include macroeconomic data (inflation, Fed policy), regulatory announcements, network upgrades or security incidents, Bitcoin correlation shifts, and large on-chain transactions. Sentiment swings from social media, institutional inflows or outflows, and derivative liquidations can also trigger sharp moves. Technical levels and options expiry clustering may amplify volatility near the resolution window. Monitoring Ethereum development news, DeFi protocol changes, and broader crypto market health will help you anticipate directional pressure.
