This market will resolve to "Up" if the Ethereum price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the ETH/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/eth-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream ETH/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
The market resolves at Jun 9, 2026, marking the end of the four-hour trading window on June 8. Resolution occurs after the market observation period closes and the final Ethereum price is confirmed. The outcome is determined by comparing Ethereum's price at the start of the 8:00 PM window to its price at 12:00 AM ET, establishing whether the net movement was up or down. Once the price data is finalized and verified, the market settles and winning shares are credited to traders who backed the correct outcome. Traders should monitor the exact timing to avoid last-minute position changes.
Several catalysts could influence Ethereum's direction during the June 8 window. Macroeconomic announcements, Federal Reserve communications, or major tech earnings reports released that evening could shift risk sentiment and crypto flows. On-chain metrics such as large whale transactions, staking changes, or network activity spikes may signal trader positioning. Regulatory news or security incidents affecting Ethereum or competing blockchains could trigger volatility. Bitcoin's price action often leads altcoin moves, so BTC momentum during the window matters significantly. Social media sentiment, options expiry events, or derivative liquidation cascades can also amplify directional moves. Traders should monitor news feeds and on-chain dashboards closely as the event window approaches.
