This market will resolve to "Up" if the Ethereum price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the ETH/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/eth-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream ETH/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader expectations about Ethereum's directional move during the June 7, 4:00AM-8:00AM ET window, which may differ from broader spot price sentiment. While spot markets price Ethereum continuously based on global supply and demand, this event contract isolates a specific four-hour interval, creating a narrower focus. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts or social media sentiment can reveal whether prediction market participants are more or less bullish than the wider crypto community. Divergences often signal either informed positioning or speculative imbalance worth monitoring.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 7, 4:00AM-8:00AM ET market resolves on Jun 7, 2026. Resolution occurs after the four-hour observation window closes, at which point the final Ethereum price is compared to the opening price at 4:00AM ET on June 7. The outcome is determined by whether Ethereum's price at 8:00AM ET is higher or lower than its price at the window's start. Once the resolution criteria are met and verified, winning shares are paid out at full value while losing shares expire worthless, settling all open positions.
Several catalysts could drive Ethereum's direction during the June 7, 4:00AM-8:00AM ET window. Regulatory announcements or major policy shifts affecting crypto markets often trigger sharp moves, especially if released during Asian or early European trading hours. Technical levels and support or resistance zones may influence intraday momentum. Macro economic data releases, Federal Reserve communications, or Bitcoin movements can create spillover effects on Ethereum. Large liquidations or whale transactions detected on-chain may signal directional bias. Additionally, network upgrades, security incidents, or major protocol news could shift sentiment. Monitoring on-chain metrics, derivatives funding rates, and social sentiment in the hours before the window opens can help anticipate volatility.
