This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader expectations about Ethereum's directional move by June 7, 12AM ET, which may diverge from current spot price momentum or technical analysis. While spot markets price Ethereum's immediate value, prediction markets incorporate longer-term sentiment, event risk, and macro catalysts over the full forecast window. Comparing prediction odds to analyst price targets or on-chain sentiment indicators can reveal whether the market is pricing in bullish or bearish conviction relative to conventional expectations.
On Polymarket, the Ethereum Up or Down - June 7, 12AM ET event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices range from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%), with the implied probability derived from the current bid-ask spread and order book depth. As traders place orders, prices adjust in real time, and the outcome with higher trading interest typically shows tighter spreads and deeper liquidity, making it easier to enter or exit positions at fair value.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 7, 12AM ET market resolves on Jun 7, 2026. Resolution is determined by comparing Ethereum's price at the specified time against the reference level established at market creation. Traders who correctly predicted the direction receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The exact price source and methodology are defined in the market's terms at creation.
Key catalysts for Ethereum price direction include major protocol upgrades, regulatory announcements affecting crypto markets, macroeconomic data (inflation, interest rates), Bitcoin momentum, and large institutional inflows or outflows. Network activity metrics, staking yields, and developer sentiment can also influence directional bias. Geopolitical events, traditional market volatility, and competing Layer-2 adoption rates may shift trader conviction. Monitoring on-chain metrics, exchange flows, and crypto derivatives positioning helps identify emerging signals before resolution.
