This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy shares representing either the up or down outcome. The price of each share reflects its implied probability, ranging from near zero to near one. As traders place orders, the automated market maker adjusts prices to balance supply and demand. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and improves price discovery. You can enter or exit positions at any time before Jun 8, 2026, with your profit or loss determined by the final settlement price.
The market resolves at Jun 8, 2026. At that moment, Ethereum's price direction relative to the specified reference level determines which outcome wins. The exact resolution criteria—such as the price source, comparison method, and any tie-breaking rules—are defined in the market's terms. Once the resolution time passes, the winning outcome is settled and shares are redeemed at their final value. Traders should review the full market details to understand exactly how the outcome will be measured.
Ethereum's price direction by Jun 8, 2026 could be influenced by macroeconomic data, Federal Reserve announcements, Bitcoin momentum, regulatory news, and major protocol or ecosystem developments. Network upgrades, staking changes, or large institutional flows can shift sentiment. Broader crypto market risk-on or risk-off cycles, geopolitical events, and traditional finance volatility also impact Ethereum's trajectory. Traders monitor on-chain metrics, derivatives positioning, and social sentiment to anticipate moves. Any surprise in these areas could rapidly shift market odds on Polymarket as new information arrives.
