This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, the Ethereum Up or Down - June 7, 11AM ET market is priced as two complementary outcome shares: one for an up move and one for a down move. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell these shares, and the price of each reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring by the resolution time. As new information, market sentiment, or volatility expectations shift, prices adjust dynamically. The spread between up and down probabilities narrows or widens based on order flow and conviction among participants.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 7, 11AM ET market resolves on Jun 7, 2026. Resolution is determined by comparing Ethereum's price at the specified time against a reference level established at market creation. The outcome is binary: if price moves in the predicted direction, that share resolves to full value; the opposite outcome resolves to zero. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout, while losing shares expire worthless. The exact price source and measurement methodology are specified in the market's terms.
Key catalysts for Ethereum's direction include major protocol upgrades, regulatory announcements affecting crypto markets, macroeconomic data releases, Bitcoin price movements, and shifts in institutional or retail sentiment. On-chain metrics such as large whale transactions, staking changes, or network activity can signal bullish or bearish momentum. Market-wide events like Fed policy shifts, traditional market volatility, or competing blockchain developments may also influence Ethereum's price trajectory. Monitoring these signals helps traders anticipate directional moves before June 7, 11AM ET.
