This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect aggregated trader expectations about Ethereum's direction by June 6, 2AM ET, often diverging from current spot prices or technical analysis. While spot price reflects immediate market conditions, prediction odds incorporate longer-term sentiment and tail-risk positioning. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts and on-chain metrics can reveal whether traders are pricing in volatility, regulatory news, or macroeconomic shifts that spot prices may not yet fully reflect.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 6, 2AM ET market resolves at Jun 6, 2026. At that moment, the outcome is determined by Ethereum's price movement relative to the specified threshold and timeframe. Once the resolution criteria are met, the market settles automatically, and traders holding the winning outcome receive their payout. Positions cannot be traded after the market closes, so timing your entry and exit before resolution is critical.
Key catalysts include major regulatory announcements, Bitcoin price swings, macroeconomic data releases, and Ethereum network upgrades or security incidents. Staking yield changes, large whale transactions, and shifts in DeFi protocol activity can also influence short-term direction. Geopolitical events, central bank policy shifts, and broader risk-on or risk-off sentiment in equities often correlate with crypto moves. Monitor on-chain metrics, exchange inflows, and volatility indices to gauge momentum heading into the June 6, 2AM ET deadline.
