This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader expectations about Ethereum's directional move by June 6, 1PM ET, which may diverge from current spot price sentiment. While spot markets react to immediate supply and demand, prediction markets price in longer-term conviction about the outcome. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts, social media sentiment, and on-chain metrics can reveal whether traders are pricing in tail risks or consensus moves that spot traders have not yet fully reflected. This gap often signals where informed traders see value.
The market resolves at Jun 6, 2026. At that moment, the outcome is determined by comparing Ethereum's price at the specified time against the reference level established at market creation. The binary structure means one outcome will be marked correct and the other incorrect, triggering automatic payout distribution to winning position holders. Traders should verify the exact price source and measurement methodology used by the platform to ensure they understand how their position will be settled.
Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, Bitcoin price movements, Ethereum network upgrades or security incidents, and macroeconomic data releases. Regulatory news—especially from the SEC or international bodies—can trigger sharp directional moves. On-chain metrics like staking changes, whale transactions, and developer activity may also influence trader positioning. Technical levels and options expiry dates can create volatility clusters. Social sentiment shifts, institutional adoption announcements, and competing layer-2 developments round out the event risk landscape. Monitor these factors to anticipate how odds on Polymarket may shift before June 6.
