This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 6, 12AM ET market resolves on Jun 6, 2026. At that time, the outcome is determined by comparing Ethereum's price at the specified resolution moment against the reference level established at market creation. Traders who correctly predicted the direction receive their winnings, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution process is automated and final once the market closes, so all positions must be settled according to the predetermined criteria.
Several catalysts could shift Ethereum's price direction before Jun 6, 2026. Major developments include regulatory announcements affecting crypto markets, Bitcoin price movements that often correlate with Ethereum, macroeconomic data impacting risk appetite, and Ethereum-specific news such as protocol upgrades or network activity changes. Technical levels and support or resistance zones also influence short-term momentum. Large liquidations, options expiry events, and shifts in staking or DeFi activity can trigger volatility. Traders on Polymarket monitor these signals continuously to adjust their positions and update market odds.
