This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing "Up" or "Down" outcomes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring by the resolution time. As traders place orders, the price adjusts in real time based on supply and demand. You can enter at any time before Jun 7, 2026, and your position settles based on which outcome occurs at the specified moment.
The market resolves at Jun 7, 2026, which marks the official end time for this event. At that moment, Ethereum's price direction is determined and the outcome is settled. Traders who correctly predicted the direction receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution is based on the price snapshot taken at the specified time, ensuring a clear and objective settlement for all participants.
Key catalysts include major regulatory announcements, Bitcoin price movements, macroeconomic data releases, and Ethereum network upgrades or security incidents. Institutional adoption news, staking yield changes, and shifts in DeFi protocol activity can also influence trader positioning. Market-wide risk sentiment, Federal Reserve policy signals, and competing Layer 1 developments may drive volatility. Technical levels and options expiration dates can create short-term momentum. Monitor on-chain metrics, developer activity, and crypto news closely to anticipate directional shifts before Jun 7, 2026.
