The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective belief about Ethereum's directional move by June 6, 10PM ET, which may diverge from current spot price momentum. While spot markets react to immediate price action, prediction markets price in longer-term sentiment, regulatory news, and macroeconomic catalysts over the full event window. Comparing Polymarket's implied probabilities to analyst forecasts or on-chain metrics can reveal whether the market is pricing in bullish or bearish conviction. Discrepancies between prediction odds and technical expectations often signal trading opportunities for informed participants.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Ethereum Up or Down - June 6, 10PM ET event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome. The current implied probability reflects the ratio of capital allocated to the Up and Down sides. Prices move continuously as new trades execute, with the spread between bid and ask reflecting liquidity depth. Polymarket uses an automated market maker model, so larger trades incur higher slippage. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the June 6, 10PM ET snapshot, with payouts determined by the final Ethereum price direction at that moment.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 6, 10PM ET market resolves on Jun 7, 2026. Resolution is determined by Ethereum's price direction at the specified snapshot time of 10PM ET on June 6. The outcome hinges on whether the price has moved up or down relative to a reference point established at market creation. Once the snapshot time passes, the market enters a settlement phase where the outcome is finalized and payouts are distributed to holders of the winning side. Traders should ensure their positions are set before the deadline, as no trades are accepted after the resolution timestamp.
Several catalysts could influence Ethereum's price direction before June 6, 10PM ET. Major network upgrades, changes to staking yields, or regulatory announcements from the SEC or international bodies could trigger sharp moves. Macroeconomic shifts—interest rate decisions, inflation data, or risk-on sentiment in equities—often correlate with crypto volatility. On-chain metrics like exchange inflows, whale transactions, and developer activity may signal accumulation or distribution. Bitcoin's price action frequently leads Ethereum, so BTC momentum is worth monitoring. Technical levels, options expiry dates, and derivative liquidation cascades can also create sudden directional pressure in either direction.
