This market will resolve to "Up" if the Ethereum price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the ETH/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/eth-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream ETH/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
The market resolves at Jun 5, 2026. Resolution is determined by Ethereum's price movement during the specified four-hour window on June 5, 12:00AM–4:00AM ET. The outcome depends on whether the closing price at the end of that window is higher or lower than the opening price at the start. This narrow time window isolates a specific trading session, making it useful for traders focused on intraday volatility or regional market hours. Once the window closes, the outcome is finalized and positions settle accordingly.
Several catalysts could influence Ethereum's direction during this four-hour window. Macroeconomic announcements—inflation data, central bank decisions, or equity market opens—often trigger crypto volatility. Layer 2 or core protocol developments, staking updates, or major exchange listings can shift sentiment. Regulatory news or enforcement actions may cause sharp moves. On-chain metrics such as large whale transactions or exchange inflows can signal buying or selling pressure. Bitcoin's movement often correlates with Ethereum, so BTC price action during that window matters. Additionally, technical levels, liquidation cascades, and options expiry events can amplify directional moves within the tight four-hour timeframe.
