The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader conviction about Ethereum's direction by Jun 4, 2026, while spot price expectations are based on current technical analysis, on-chain metrics, and analyst sentiment. Prediction markets often diverge from spot price momentum because they price in longer-term conviction and tail risks. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts and technical levels can reveal whether the market is pricing in a consensus view or contrarian positioning. Traders use this gap to identify potential mispricings relative to fundamental expectations.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Ethereum Up or Down - June 4, 12AM ET contract is priced as a binary outcome, with two complementary shares representing up and down scenarios. The price of each share reflects the probability traders assign to that outcome, ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). As traders buy and sell shares, the automated market maker adjusts prices to balance liquidity. The current odds and 24-hour volume on Polymarket are visible on the dashboard, allowing you to assess depth and conviction before placing trades.
Key catalysts for Ethereum price direction include macroeconomic data (inflation, interest rates, risk sentiment), regulatory announcements affecting crypto, major network upgrades or security incidents, Bitcoin correlation shifts, and large derivative liquidations. On-chain metrics such as exchange inflows, whale accumulation, and staking changes can signal institutional positioning. Market-wide events like Fed decisions or geopolitical shocks often trigger sharp repricing. Monitoring these signals helps traders anticipate odds shifts and adjust positions before Jun 4, 2026.
