This event group tracks whether Ethereum's ETH/USDT price on Binance closes higher than or equal to its opening price during a specific 1-hour candle window. The market resolves to 'Up' if close >= open, and 'Down' otherwise, using Binance's official 1H candle data as the single source of truth.
This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Major catalysts include Ethereum network upgrades, regulatory announcements, macroeconomic shifts affecting risk appetite, and Bitcoin price action—since ETH often correlates with BTC. Large on-chain transactions, staking changes, or developer sentiment can also shift trader conviction. Additionally, broader crypto market events, central bank policy shifts, or geopolitical developments that impact liquidity may trigger sharp repricing. Watch for unusual volume spikes on either side, which often precede directional moves.
