This market will resolve to "Up" if the Ethereum price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the ETH/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/eth-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream ETH/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing either the up or down outcome. The price of each share reflects the market's implied probability that Ethereum will move in that direction during the June 3rd, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET window. Shares are typically priced between 0 and 1 (or 0–100 cents), with the sum of both outcomes equaling 1. Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by holding until resolution when winning shares pay out at full value.
The market resolves on Jun 4, 2026. Resolution is determined by Ethereum's price movement during the specified four-hour window on June 3rd, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET. The outcome depends on whether the closing price at the end of that window is higher or lower than the opening price at the start, based on a designated price feed or reference exchange. Once the window closes, the market settles according to the actual price action observed during that period.
Several catalysts could influence Ethereum's price direction during that four-hour window. Major regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data releases, or statements from key figures in crypto or traditional finance could trigger sharp moves. Technical levels and support/resistance zones may also play a role in intraday volatility. Additionally, broader Bitcoin price action, stock market movements, or unexpected news about Ethereum's network or ecosystem could shift sentiment. Traders should monitor crypto news feeds, economic calendars, and social media for developments that might impact volatility during the June 3rd evening window.
