This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 3, 12AM ET market resolves at Jun 3, 2026. At that time, the outcome is determined by comparing Ethereum's price at the resolution timestamp against its price at market creation. The specific price source, data feed, and directional threshold are defined in the market's resolution criteria. Once the resolution time passes, the winning outcome is locked in and shares settle accordingly. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless.
Several catalysts could shift Ethereum's price direction before Jun 3, 2026. Regulatory announcements, major protocol upgrades, or changes in Bitcoin's momentum often drive Ethereum volatility. Macroeconomic events, Federal Reserve policy shifts, and equity market swings can also influence crypto sentiment. On-chain metrics like exchange inflows, whale transactions, and staking changes may signal accumulation or distribution. Technical levels, options expiry dates, and derivative liquidation cascades can trigger sharp moves. Monitoring these signals helps traders anticipate which way Polymarket odds might swing as new information emerges.
