This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, Ethereum Up or Down - June 3, 11PM ET is priced as a binary contract where traders buy shares representing either the up or down outcome. Each share costs between 0 and 1 dollar, with the price reflecting the implied probability of that outcome occurring by the deadline. As traders place orders, the automated market maker adjusts prices to balance supply and demand. The current price of each outcome directly translates to its win probability, allowing you to see exactly what the market believes will happen to Ethereum's price.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 3, 11PM ET market resolves on Jun 4, 2026. At that time, the outcome is determined by comparing Ethereum's price at the specified moment against the reference level established at market creation. Winning shares pay out 1 dollar each, while losing shares expire worthless. The resolution process is automated and final once the deadline passes, locking in all profits and losses for traders who held positions through expiration.
Ethereum's price direction through Jun 4, 2026 could be influenced by macroeconomic data releases, Federal Reserve communications, Bitcoin price movements, regulatory announcements affecting crypto, major protocol upgrades or network developments, institutional adoption news, and shifts in risk sentiment across financial markets. Technical levels and support or resistance zones may also trigger momentum. On-chain metrics such as exchange inflows, whale transactions, and staking changes can signal trader conviction. Monitoring these catalysts helps predict which way the market will lean as the resolution deadline approaches.
