This event group tracks whether Ethereum (ETH/USDT) closes higher than or equal to its opening price during a specific 1-hour candle on June 27 at 9PM ET, using Binance as the authoritative price source. Resolution is binary: 'Up' if close >= open, 'Down' otherwise.
This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different user demographics, liquidity pools, and trading strategies, which can create temporary price gaps. Polymarket may have deeper liquidity or more active traders in crypto, while Predict might draw a different cohort with distinct risk appetites. Fees, withdrawal policies, and platform UI also influence where traders choose to place bets. Additionally, arbitrage opportunities between venues may not close instantly if transaction costs or regulatory friction make cross-platform trading expensive. Monitoring both prices helps you spot mispricings and understand which platform's crowd is more confident in a given outcome.
Major catalysts include regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data releases, Bitcoin price action, and Ethereum-specific developments like network upgrades or staking changes. Large exchange inflows or outflows can signal accumulation or distribution, shifting trader conviction. Broader crypto sentiment swings tied to Fed policy, inflation reports, or geopolitical events often ripple through altcoin markets. Technical levels and options expiry dates may also trigger volatility. Monitoring on-chain metrics, social sentiment, and traditional finance headlines will help you anticipate shifts in this market's pricing before resolution.
