This event group tracks whether Ethereum (ETH/USDT) closes higher than or equal to its opening price during a specific 1-hour candle on June 27 at 8AM ET, using Binance as the authoritative price source. The market resolves to 'Up' if close >= open, otherwise 'Down'.
This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which can cause temporary price gaps. Polymarket and Predict may also have slightly different user bases with distinct risk appetites or information access. Arbitrage traders typically narrow these spreads, but during low-volume periods or when new information emerges, divergence can persist. Monitoring both venues helps you spot opportunities: if one platform significantly underprices an outcome you believe in, you can trade there and potentially hedge on the other. Over time, these prices tend to converge as informed traders exploit mispricings.
Ethereum's price action is sensitive to macroeconomic shifts, regulatory announcements, and shifts in crypto market sentiment. Major developments—such as changes in interest rates, updates to Ethereum's roadmap, or large institutional moves—can quickly swing trader conviction. Network upgrades, security incidents, or competing blockchain announcements may also influence directional bets. Monitoring on-chain metrics, developer activity, and broader crypto news will help you anticipate how this market might shift. Additionally, watch for spillover effects from Bitcoin or traditional markets, since Ethereum often correlates with wider asset class movements during volatile periods.
