This event group tracks whether Ethereum (ETH/USDT) closes higher than or equal to its opening price during a specific 1-hour candle on June 27 at 5PM ET, as measured on Binance. Resolution depends on comparing the close price (C) to the open price (O) for that exact hourly period, with no alternative exchanges or pairs considered.
This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Major catalysts include Ethereum network upgrades, regulatory announcements affecting crypto, macroeconomic shifts in risk sentiment, and Bitcoin price movements—which often correlate with altcoin direction. Large institutional inflows or outflows, changes in staking yields, and developments in competing Layer 2 solutions can also sway trader positioning. Market-moving news from the broader DeFi ecosystem, central bank policy decisions, and shifts in correlation with traditional assets may trigger rapid repricing. Monitoring these signals helps traders anticipate momentum shifts before this market settles.
