On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on order flow and liquidity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more capital flowing into one outcome, the higher its price climbs; conversely, selling pressure drives prices down. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market reflects real-time conviction. You can buy or sell fractional shares at any time before the deadline, with your position's value tied directly to the probability the market assigns at any given moment.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once Ethereum's price direction is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on whether ETH closes above or below its opening level at that specific moment. No further trading occurs after the deadline passes. Holders of the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing shares expire worthless.
Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, macroeconomic data releases, and Ethereum-specific developments such as network upgrades or regulatory news. Large spot market moves, changes in Bitcoin sentiment, or shifts in DeFi activity can also swing trader conviction. Geopolitical events and traditional market volatility often ripple into crypto. Watch for whale transactions, exchange inflows or outflows, and shifts in on-chain metrics—these real-time signals frequently trigger repricing as traders adjust their positions ahead of the deadline.
