Frequently asked questions

On Predict, the Ethereum price direction market dashboard displays real-time odds for whether ETH will move up or down by the June 24 deadline. Traders can monitor the current probability assigned to each outcome, review historical price movements within the market, and track trading volume to gauge activity and liquidity. The dashboard provides a live snapshot of how the crowd is pricing directional exposure to Ethereum, updated continuously as new trades flow in. This view helps participants assess consensus sentiment and identify potential trading opportunities before the market closes.

Prediction market odds reflect the collective belief of traders about Ethereum's price direction, often diverging from near-term spot price momentum or analyst forecasts. While spot markets react to immediate news and technical levels, this market aggregates longer-term conviction across many participants with real money at stake. Traders who believe consensus odds underestimate upside or downside risk can take positions accordingly. Comparing the implied probability here to your own view of macro trends, regulatory developments, or on-chain activity can reveal whether the market is pricing in tail risks or overlooking key catalysts.

On Predict, traders set the odds through continuous order matching, with prices reflecting the balance of buy and sell interest at any moment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome carries an implied probability, and participants can enter or exit positions throughout the trading window. The market price adjusts dynamically as new information emerges or as traders reassess their conviction. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices move, so periods of high activity may see sharper shifts in the odds than slower trading windows.

This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed based on Ethereum's verified price direction. The result will be determined once the event is observable from credible public sources, ensuring an objective and transparent settlement. Traders holding positions in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. The exact mechanics of price verification and payout timing follow the platform's standard resolution procedures.

Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, macroeconomic data releases, and shifts in risk sentiment that typically drive broad crypto volatility. Ethereum-specific developments such as network upgrades, staking yield changes, or regulatory clarity on digital assets can also sway directional bets. Large derivative liquidations or spot exchange inflows may signal momentum shifts. On-chain metrics like active addresses and transaction volume, combined with institutional adoption news, could influence trader positioning. Geopolitical events or banking sector stress may trigger flight-to-safety moves that ripple through crypto markets.
