Frequently asked questions

On Predict, the Ethereum price direction market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trading activity for whether Ethereum's price will move up or down by the scheduled event time. The interface displays the current probability split between the two outcomes, along with historical price charts and recent trade volume. This live data helps traders monitor sentiment shifts and liquidity depth as the event approaches, giving a transparent view of how the market is pricing directional exposure to Ethereum at that specific moment.

Prediction market odds reflect what traders collectively believe will happen, whereas spot price expectations are based on current market pricing and technical analysis. This market aggregates the conviction of many participants betting real capital, which often incorporates forward-looking sentiment that spot prices alone may not capture. Comparing the odds here to analyst forecasts and on-chain metrics can reveal whether the crowd is more bullish or bearish than consensus expectations, offering a useful cross-check for directional conviction.

On Predict, traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome, with the price of each share reflecting its implied probability. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price continuously adjusts based on order flow and liquidity, so the odds you see represent the real-time consensus of all active traders. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, the price discovery mechanism ensures the odds stay aligned with participant expectations right up until the event concludes.

This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed based on verifiable public data about Ethereum's price direction at that time. The resolution hinges on whether the price moved up or down from the reference point, assessed against credible market sources. Once the event is observable and confirmed, the market settles and traders receive payouts according to whichever outcome occurred.

Major catalysts include regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data releases, shifts in Bitcoin momentum, and developments in Ethereum's technical roadmap or ecosystem. Network upgrades, changes in staking yields, and broader crypto market sentiment can all influence directional bets. Additionally, large institutional trades, central bank policy shifts, or geopolitical events affecting risk appetite may trigger rapid repricing. Traders typically monitor on-chain metrics, derivatives funding rates, and social sentiment to anticipate moves before they're reflected in this market's odds.
