Frequently asked questions

On Predict, the Ethereum price movement market dashboard displays real-time odds and historical price data for traders wagering on whether ETH moves up or down by the June 23 deadline. The interface shows current implied probabilities, recent trading activity, and cumulative volume to help you monitor sentiment shifts. This dashboard lets you track how the market reprices as new information emerges, giving you a live view of collective trader expectations around Ethereum's directional move during the specified window.

Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader conviction about Ethereum's direction, often diverging from passive spot price momentum because they incorporate forward-looking sentiment and event risk. While spot prices react to immediate supply and demand, this market prices in longer-term positioning and macro catalysts. Comparing the implied odds here to analyst forecasts and on-chain metrics can reveal whether traders are pricing in tail risks or consensus moves that spot markets may not yet fully reflect.

On Predict, traders directly set odds by buying and selling outcome shares, with the price of each outcome reflecting its implied probability. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Your entry and exit prices depend on the order book depth and recent trade flow, so timing and liquidity matter. As new information surfaces or trader sentiment shifts, the price adjusts in real time, allowing you to enter or exit your position at any point before the market closes.

This market resolves around Jun 23, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once Ethereum's price movement is verifiable from credible public sources. The resolution hinges on whether ETH closes above or below its opening level on that date, measured against established market data. Once the event passes and the direction is confirmed, payouts are distributed to holders of the winning outcome.

Major catalysts include Ethereum network upgrades, regulatory announcements, macroeconomic shifts affecting risk appetite, and Bitcoin price action—since BTC often leads altcoin moves. On-chain metrics like staking changes, large whale transactions, and developer activity can also shift trader positioning. Additionally, broader crypto sentiment, Fed policy signals, and institutional adoption news may reshape expectations around Ethereum's near-term direction heading into the June 23 window.
