Frequently asked questions

On Predict, the Ethereum price movement market dashboard displays real-time odds and historical price data for this prediction on whether ETH will move up or down by the specified deadline. Traders can monitor the current implied probability, recent trading activity, and cumulative volume to gauge market sentiment. The dashboard provides a transparent view of how participants are pricing the outcome, updated continuously as new trades execute. This snapshot helps you assess consensus expectations around Ethereum's near-term direction.

Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader conviction about Ethereum's directional move, often diverging from spot price momentum alone. While spot exchanges show current price and recent volatility, this market captures forward-looking sentiment—what informed participants actually believe will happen by resolution. Comparing the implied probability here to your own view of technical levels, on-chain activity, or macro catalysts can reveal whether the market is pricing in too much or too little upside risk. This divergence often signals trading opportunities for those with differentiated views.

On Predict, traders directly set the odds through buy and sell orders, with the market price reflecting the last executed trade. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome (up or down) has its own contract, and the combined probabilities should sum to 100 percent, accounting for platform fees. As more capital flows into one side, the odds shift to reflect new equilibrium. This continuous pricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to breaking news, technical levels, and shifting macro conditions throughout the trading window.

This market resolves around Jun 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning side is determined by whether Ethereum's price has moved in the specified direction relative to the reference level at that time. Traders holding the correct outcome receive their share of the pool, while the losing side forfeits their stake. Resolution is final once verified, so timing and price feeds matter significantly for settlement.

Major catalysts include regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data affecting risk appetite, significant blockchain upgrades or security incidents, and large on-chain transactions or whale movements. Bitcoin price action often correlates strongly with Ethereum volatility, so BTC momentum can shift odds materially. Technical breakouts above or below key resistance and support levels may trigger algorithmic trading or liquidations. Additionally, broader crypto sentiment shifts—driven by Fed policy, traditional market stress, or sentiment on social media—can rapidly reprrice this market as the resolution date approaches.
