This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as binary outcome shares: traders buy or sell contracts representing either an up or down move for Ethereum by June 2, 8PM ET. The price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome, ranging from 0 to 100 cents. As traders place orders, the price adjusts in real time. Volume and liquidity on Polymarket determine how easily traders can enter or exit positions at competitive prices.
Key catalysts for Ethereum price movement include major protocol upgrades, regulatory announcements affecting crypto markets, macroeconomic data releases, Bitcoin price swings, and shifts in institutional or retail sentiment. Network activity, staking yields, and competing layer-2 developments can also influence trader expectations. Monitoring Ethereum development news, on-chain metrics, and broader crypto market sentiment will help traders assess which outcome is more likely as the June 2, 8PM ET deadline approaches.
