This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective belief about Ethereum's directional move by Jun 2, 2026, which may diverge from current spot price momentum or technical analysis. While spot markets react to immediate price action, prediction markets incorporate longer-term sentiment and tail-risk hedging. Comparing Polymarket odds to analyst forecasts or on-chain metrics can reveal whether the market is pricing in bullish or bearish catalysts that spot traders may have overlooked. This gap often signals where informed traders see value.
Ethereum's price direction by Jun 2, 2026 could be influenced by macroeconomic data releases, Federal Reserve commentary, Bitcoin momentum, regulatory announcements, or major smart contract upgrades. On-chain metrics such as exchange inflows, whale transactions, and staking changes often precede price moves. Technical levels and options expiry dates can also trigger volatility. Geopolitical events or broader risk-off sentiment in equities may push Ethereum lower, while positive DeFi adoption news or institutional inflows could drive it higher.
