Frequently asked questions

The Ethereum price movement market dashboard on Polymarket tracks real-time odds and historical price data for the Ethereum price movement market. Traders use this interface to view current probabilities assigned to up or down outcomes, monitor 24-hour trading volume, and review price history leading up to the June 17 resolution window. The dashboard displays live order books, recent trades, and aggregate liquidity, giving participants a complete snapshot of market sentiment and trading activity at any moment.

Prediction market odds reflect collective trader expectations about Ethereum's direction by the resolution deadline, often diverging from current spot prices on exchanges. While spot markets react to immediate supply and demand, this market aggregates forward-looking sentiment from participants who profit by accurately forecasting price movement. Comparing odds here to analyst forecasts and on-chain metrics can reveal whether traders are pricing in bullish or bearish catalysts that spot markets may not yet fully reflect.

On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism, with odds continuously updated as buy and sell orders flow in. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome (up or down) represents the probability traders assign to that result, ranging from near 0 to near 100 percent. Liquidity providers and speculators interact with the order book, pushing prices higher or lower based on new information, technical signals, and macroeconomic developments affecting Ethereum.

This market resolves around Jun 17, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once Ethereum's price movement is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on whether Ethereum's price has moved up or down relative to the reference point established at market creation. Participants should monitor official exchange data and market announcements as the deadline approaches to understand how the final determination will be made.

Major catalysts for this market include regulatory announcements, macroeconomic shifts affecting risk appetite, Ethereum network upgrades, and Bitcoin price movements. Technical levels, options expiry dates, and large whale transactions can also trigger sharp repricing. Monitoring on-chain metrics, developer activity, and broader crypto sentiment will help traders anticipate directional shifts before the June 17 deadline.
