Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Ethereum price movement market dashboard displays real-time odds and historical price data for this binary outcome event. Traders can monitor the current probability of Ethereum moving up or down by the June 15 deadline, along with 24-hour trading volume and order book depth. The dashboard shows how market participants are pricing in near-term volatility, macroeconomic catalysts, and on-chain activity. This live feed helps traders spot momentum shifts and compare their own price expectations against the collective market view before the event resolves.

Prediction market odds reflect what traders collectively believe will happen, which often diverges from spot price alone. While spot exchanges show the current Ethereum price, this market captures forward-looking sentiment about directional movement over a specific window. Traders who monitor both spot volatility and prediction odds can identify when the market is pricing in more or less upside risk than recent price action suggests. Comparing the two reveals whether consensus expects a breakout, consolidation, or reversal by the resolution date.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on buy and sell pressure. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The outcome with higher trading volume typically reflects stronger conviction among participants. Prices move continuously as new information arrives, allowing real-time discovery of whether the market leans bullish or bearish on Ethereum's near-term direction. Liquidity depth and order flow patterns help traders gauge the strength of consensus behind each outcome.

This market resolves around Jun 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The binary result depends on whether Ethereum's price has moved up or down relative to a specified reference point by the deadline. Traders should monitor official price feeds and market announcements in the final hours to ensure they understand the exact settlement terms. Once the event occurs and the outcome is verified, positions settle automatically and winnings are distributed.

Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, macroeconomic data releases, and Ethereum-specific developments such as network upgrades or regulatory news. Large spot market moves, changes in Bitcoin correlation, and shifts in institutional sentiment can all trigger rapid repricing. On-chain metrics like staking activity and whale transactions may also influence trader conviction. Social media momentum, analyst calls, and geopolitical events can accelerate volatility and push odds sharply in either direction before the June 15 deadline.
