On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares of each outcome—Ethereum Up or Ethereum Down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the market's real-time probability estimate, with the two outcomes always summing to 100 percent. As new trades flow in, the odds shift dynamically, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes.
This market resolves around Jun 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning side is determined by Ethereum's price direction at the specified time, verified against established market data sources. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless.
Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, Bitcoin price swings, regulatory developments affecting crypto markets, and macroeconomic data releases. On-chain metrics such as large whale transactions, staking changes, or network upgrades can also shift trader sentiment. Broader market risk-off events, traditional finance volatility, and shifts in institutional crypto adoption narratives all influence how traders price this market closer to resolution.
