Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Ethereum price movement market dashboard displays real-time odds and historical price data for this prediction event. Traders can monitor the current probability of Ethereum moving up or down during the specified window, along with 24-hour trading volume and order book depth. The dashboard provides a live snapshot of how the market is pricing directional exposure to ETH, updated continuously as new trades execute. This visual interface helps participants assess consensus sentiment and identify entry or exit opportunities throughout the trading session.

Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader conviction about Ethereum's direction over the defined interval, often diverging from spot price momentum alone. While traditional technical analysis or spot exchange charts show recent price action, this market synthesizes forward-looking expectations and risk appetite across a diverse participant base. Odds can signal whether informed traders expect mean reversion, continuation, or volatility expansion—signals that may not align with current intraday trends. Comparing market-implied probabilities to your own view of catalysts and macro conditions can reveal mispricings or consensus blind spots.

On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker or order-book mechanism, with each outcome represented as a separate tradable contract. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the collective probability assigned by buyers and sellers; a contract trading at 0.65 implies a 65% implied chance of that outcome occurring. Liquidity, order flow, and new information continuously adjust prices in real time. Participants profit by buying low and selling high, or by holding positions to resolution, creating natural incentives for accurate pricing.

This market resolves around Jun 13, 2026, after the specified trading window closes. The outcome is determined by verified Ethereum price data from credible public sources, confirming whether ETH moved up or down relative to the opening level during the event period. Once the price movement is confirmed and the resolution criteria are met, the market settles and winning positions are credited. Traders should monitor official announcements and price feeds as the resolution window approaches to understand final settlement details.

Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy announcements, macroeconomic data releases, and crypto-specific news such as regulatory developments or large exchange movements. Technical levels and options expiry times can also trigger volatility. Sentiment shifts on social media or institutional positioning changes may influence trader conviction. Additionally, broader market stress, stablecoin dynamics, or geopolitical events can drive sharp directional moves. Monitoring on-chain metrics, derivatives funding rates, and traditional finance correlation will help traders anticipate directional pressure before the market closes.
