On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy shares representing either an up or down outcome. The price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring by the resolution deadline. As traders place orders, the automated market maker adjusts prices to balance supply and demand. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and increases price accuracy. You can enter or exit positions at any time before expiration, with your profit or loss determined by the final settlement price.
Major catalysts for Ethereum's price direction include regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data releases, Bitcoin momentum shifts, and Ethereum-specific developments such as network upgrades or staking changes. Market-wide events like Federal Reserve decisions or geopolitical tensions can trigger broad crypto volatility. Technical levels and options expiry dates may also influence short-term price action. Monitoring on-chain metrics, whale transactions, and derivatives positioning can help identify conviction shifts. Social sentiment and mainstream media coverage often amplify moves near the resolution deadline.
