This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Ethereum Up or Down - June 10, 6PM ET contract is priced as a binary outcome pair: one share for Up, one for Down. The price of each outcome reflects the probability traders assign to that result by the resolution deadline. Shares trade continuously, and the sum of both outcome prices always equals one dollar. As new information about Ethereum's fundamentals, market sentiment, or macro conditions emerges, traders adjust positions, moving prices and implied probabilities. Volume and liquidity on this contract determine how efficiently prices adjust to new information.
The Ethereum Up or Down - June 10, 6PM ET market resolves on Jun 10, 2026. At that moment, the outcome is determined by comparing Ethereum's price at 6PM ET on June 10 to establish whether it moved up or down relative to the reference point. Once the resolution criteria are met and verified, the market settles and winning shares are paid out. Traders should monitor the exact resolution methodology and any official announcements from the platform to ensure they understand how the outcome will be measured and confirmed.
Major catalysts for Ethereum price direction include regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data releases, Bitcoin momentum shifts, and Ethereum-specific developments such as network upgrades or staking changes. Broader crypto sentiment, central bank policy signals, and institutional adoption news can also drive significant moves. Technical levels and options expiry dates may create short-term volatility. On-chain metrics like exchange inflows and whale transactions can signal accumulation or distribution. Geopolitical events and traditional market risk-off episodes often correlate with crypto downside. Traders should monitor news, on-chain data, and macro calendars closely through June 10.
