This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader conviction about Ethereum's directional move by June 1, 7PM ET, which may differ from current spot price momentum or technical analysis. Spot price expectations are typically based on recent price action and chart patterns, while prediction markets incorporate broader sentiment, macro catalysts, and tail-risk hedging. If Polymarket odds diverge significantly from what traditional analysts or on-chain metrics suggest, it often signals either mispricing or that traders are pricing in events spot markets haven't yet reflected. Comparing the two helps identify where consensus breaks down.
Major catalysts for Ethereum price movement before June 1, 7PM ET include regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data releases, Bitcoin volatility, Ethereum network upgrades or security incidents, and shifts in institutional crypto sentiment. On-chain metrics like exchange inflows or whale transactions can signal directional bias. Broader market events—Fed policy, equity market swings, or geopolitical developments—often ripple into crypto. Technical levels and options expiry dates may also influence short-term price action. Traders should monitor news, on-chain analytics, and macro calendars to anticipate moves that could swing the outcome.
