Major regulatory announcements, changes to Ethereum's roadmap or technical upgrades, and shifts in broader crypto market sentiment often trigger sharp moves. Macroeconomic events—interest rate decisions, inflation data, or risk-off sentiment—can push capital into or out of crypto. Large whale transactions, exchange inflows or outflows, and shifts in staking or DeFi activity on Ethereum may signal institutional positioning. Technical levels, support and resistance breaks, and correlation with Bitcoin also influence short-term momentum. Monitoring on-chain metrics, developer activity, and news flow helps traders anticipate directional moves before resolution.
